1. Accepted Payment Methods
We accept exclusively credit/debit cards through PCI-DSS certified gateways:

Note: We do not accept cash, checks, bank transfers, Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL), or cryptocurrency.
2. Currency & Pricing
- All transactions are processed in British Pounds Sterling (GBP £)
- Prices include UK VAT where applicable
- International cards may incur currency conversion fees from your bank
- We reserve the right to correct pricing errors (Regulation 18, UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013)
3. Authorization Process
- Your card is pre-authorized at order placement
- Full charge occurs upon shipment confirmation
- Failed authorizations automatically cancel orders
- Multiple authorization attempts may appear temporarily on statements

5. Invoice Information
- Digital invoices emailed upon payment capture
- Invoice includes:
• Business VAT number (if registered)
• Itemized product costs
• Shipping fees (free for UK orders)
• Order-specific billing address

6. Billing Address Requirements
To prevent fraud, we verify:
- Billing address must match card issuer's records
- UK postcode validation via AVS (Address Verification System)
- Orders held for manual review if discrepancies detected
7. Declined Payments
Common reasons for declines:
- Insufficient funds
- Daily transaction limit exceeded
- International transaction block on card
- Billing/postcode mismatch
Resolution: Contact your bank or use alternative card
8. Recurring Charges
- We DO NOT implement automatic recurring billing
- Each transaction requires explicit customer authorization
- No hidden subscriptions or membership fees
9. Refund Processing
- Refunds issued to original payment card only
- Allow 7 business days for processing + 3-5 days for bank clearance
- Appear as "REINIER VERPLANCKE REFUND" on statements
10. Dispute Resolution
For billing errors:
- Contact us within 30 days at billing@reinierverplancke.shop
- Provide: Order number, transaction ID, and bank statement
- Investigations completed within 14 business days
- Escalate unresolved disputes to Financial Ombudsman Service (UK)
11. International Card Notice
Non-UK cards may experience:
- Currency conversion fees (1-3% typically)
- Cross-border transaction fees
- Pre-authorization holds up to 7 business days

12. Policy Updates
